SETTING: |
The Joy Street Residence is located near stores and all forms of
transportation. The program consists of six studios, ten
one-bedroom apartments, and four two-bedroom apartments. All
units have kitchens and full bathrooms. There are additional
bathrooms in the building. Each unit has an emergency pull cord
and is handicap accessible. The building has an elevator and
coin-operated laundry facilities. There is a community dining
room, kitchen, living room, meeting room, and a roof deck. |

-AAC provides units with new furniture, kitchenware, and
linens upon move-in
-On-site staff from 9AM to 5PM most days
-24 hour emergency staff coverage (each unit door has a
posting of emergency numbers)
-Case management
-Limited transportation assistance (tokens, vouchers)
-Community activities (i.e. cookouts)
-On-site meetings/groups
