Individual Adults and Families

Serves 15 individual men and women or families with an adult
member who is disabled by HIV and is homeless. Applicants with
addiction histories must have 6 months of clean time. The program
serves people who speak Haitian Creole, English, Shona,
Spanish, French and other languages. |

SETTING: |
The LAKAY Project consists of 15 scattered site, market rate
apartments in residential neighborhoods. The apartment size and
other features depend on the needs of a particular individual or
family. |

-Multi-lingual staff (Haitian Creole, English, Shona,
Spanish, and French)
-Residents can access staff in emergencies by calling a beeper #
-Housing search assistance
-Lease-up and move-in assistance
-Home-based case management
