Fourth Annual Holiday Party and Fundraiser

AHC's Annual Holiday Party and Fundraiser will be held at Dedo Lounge and Bistro in Boston's Park Square on Thursday, December 9th from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Come support AHC in its mission to end homelessness for people living with HIV and AIDS.

First meeting of United, the Massachusetts Disability Housing Network

On October 21, 2004 a group of over 40 people representing more than 30 agencies came together to discuss housing issues as they relate to people with disabilities. The goal of this network is to promote the development and preservation of affordable and accessible housing options and address homelessness for people with disabilities through a unified cross-disability coalition.

AHC continues HIV/AIDS housing training series

AIDS Housing Corporation is pleased to continue the HIV/AIDS housing training series offered in conjunction with the release of Achieving Excellence, the revised Standards of Care for HIV housing programs. Additional information on these trainings, as well as registration forms, will be sent out to individual program staff and are available on our website.

AHC partners up to initiate the HomeWork Demonstration Project
AHC, along with several other organizations, is working to bring together housing and employment services to 40 disabled chronically homeless individuals through an innovate new program, the HomeWork Project.

    New Publications
In the spring and fall of 2004 AHC released four new publications for HIV/AIDS housing providers: the revised Standards of Care for congregate and scattered site housing programs (available in English or Spanish), an updated HIV/AIDS housing directory covering all of New England; and a new and updated edition of our Program Director's Workbook.
