    Staff changes at AHC
AHC saw several staff changes in the latter part of 2004. Anne Siegler came on as new Project Manager and Matt Noyes was hired as our Community Advocacy Coordinator to replace Alexis Breiteneicher. Alexis, after two and a half years at AHC, relocated to Seattle. Jim Pettinelli, after two years, left AHC to take a position at Victory Programs as Vice President for Programs.

AHC completes New England wide HOPWA 101 training series
On January 20, AHC held a day-long HOPWA 101 training session at the DCI Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, which completed this training for all of the New England states.

AHC continues HIV/AIDS housing training series

Rachel Kogan, Training and Evaluation Specialist at AHC, held two more trainings since our last newsletter. On December 7, 2004, "Managing Crisis in HIV Housing Programs" was led by two trainers from JRI health. On January 8, 2005, Rachel led "Outcome Measures and Evaluation for HIV Supportive Housing Programs" with Dawn Fukuda, DPH AIDS Bureau. Several more trainings are scheduled for the upcoming months.

Thank you for making our holiday fundraiser a great success

AHC's Fourth Annual Holiday Event hosted at Dedo Bistro and Lounge was a great success. Event-goers turned out in record numbers this year to support AHC's mission to end homelessness for people living with HIV and AIDS.

    Letter from Joe Carleo, ED

2004 proved to be a very exciting and productive year at AHC. The team at AHC worked together to produce more publications and conduct more trainings than ever before as well as continue to provide direct technical assistance to many funders and providers of AIDS housing.
